In early 2015, Scoutbook.com was purchased by the Boy Scouts as the national online advancement tracking tool for a Scout's experience.
Troop 649 uses Scoutbook exclusively as part of our push to use more technology with our Scouts. Our purpose is to demonstrate that technology is more useful than just entertainment. |
Creating Your Adult Account

By going to Scoutbook.com and watching the first video on the landing page you will learn everything you need to know about creating your adult account. Once the adult account is created then you can invite your Scout to create an account.

Your Scout's Responsibility
|
Once your Scout has completed activities in either his Scout Handbook or for a Merit Badge, those activities should be documented in Scoutbook. These activities can only be completed in the Scout's account. After marking the activities complete the scout reviews them with an adult leader in the troop to have them marked complete by a troop leader.
